01 / Where I help

You know something needs to change. The next step is less clear.

Transformation can start with a growth ambition, a process that no longer works or a system investment that needs direction. I help you understand what needs to change, what to prioritise and how to move forward.

01Transformation is on the agenda. A shared plan is missing.Teams have initiatives underway, but priorities compete. The target state is unclear, and nobody has a joined-up view of what should happen first.

I work with leadership to align the ambition, sharpen the strategy where needed and build a roadmap around business value, dependencies and realistic choices.

You leave with: A shared target state and a prioritised roadmap with clear ownership and decision points.

How I work
02Your teams work hard. The handovers slow them down.Marketing, sales, service and finance each see part of the customer journey. Information is entered twice, responsibilities are unclear and work gets stuck between teams and systems.

I analyse the journey and the processes behind it, then define how responsibilities, information and work should connect across the commercial lifecycle.

You leave with: A practical process design with clear responsibilities, handovers and business requirements.

How I work
03You need better decisions. Your data is not helping yet.You want to introduce BI, or already have dashboards, but teams use different definitions and reports do not answer the questions that matter. Leadership still struggles to see where action is needed.

I start with the management questions. Together with business teams and data specialists, I define the KPIs, data responsibilities and requirements that make reporting useful.

You leave with: An agreed reporting direction, shared KPI definitions and prioritised data requirements.

How I work
04The programme is moving. The business benefit is still unclear.A CRM, data or transformation programme is underway, but key decisions remain open. Scope grows, adoption is uneven and progress is measured mainly in delivered features.

I review the business objectives, solution decisions and delivery priorities with the responsible teams. We clarify what needs attention and how progress should be assessed against the intended value.

You leave with: A focused action plan, clearer decisions and agreed criteria for tracking adoption and business outcomes.

How I work

02 / How I work

From alignment to a solution your business can use.

I work between leadership, business teams and delivery specialists. My approach follows Target Operating Model principles: defining how people, processes, data, technology and governance need to work together to deliver the business ambition. This gives us a shared direction for the roadmap, solution design and implementation.

Agree what needs to change — and why.

We examine the current situation, bring the relevant stakeholders together and clarify the challenge, ambition and decisions ahead. We agree what success means and where the work should focus.

The resultA shared understanding of the challenge, clear objectives and an agreed scope.

You can bring me in at the stage you need. We revisit priorities as new evidence emerges from design and delivery. I lead the business work and help steer implementation; technical specialists own the detailed architecture and build within the agreed delivery responsibilities.

04 / About

An advisor with an operator’s perspective.

I’m Pascal Bänninger. I’ve built a business, led teams and worked through the decisions that come with growth and change.

That experience shapes how I advise: understand the business, make the trade-offs explicit and design a path that people can put into practice.

My focus is customer and commercial transformation in B2B organisations. I connect leadership priorities with the processes, data and technology needed to deliver them. For executives and boards, that means a clearer view of priorities, investment choices and progress. For business and delivery teams, it means a shared understanding of what needs to work.

AI in practice

I have worked hands-on with AI since 2022 and use it extensively in my day-to-day work. I bring that practical experience to assessing where AI can support business processes, how it fits the operating model and what people need to use it effectively.

05 / Working with partners

A business perspective for your client’s transformation.

I also work with consulting firms, agencies and delivery partners that need support between client leadership and specialist teams.

I can contribute to management workshops, discovery, strategy and roadmapping, business analysis, process design and solution definition. During delivery, I help clarify business decisions and keep the work connected to the intended outcomes.

For firms and intermediaries assembling a project team, we can define the contribution around the client’s needs, the existing team and clear responsibilities.
